Wilderness

I think the thing I love most about the wild is the fact that it is unapologetically persistent about who it is and who it wants to be, doesn't matter how many times you root out that grass u know it’s gonna grow right back.
I love the wild and untamed and yes that is after taking into consideration the fact that a “wild” animal will rip me apart in no time, but isn't that what it’s supposed to do? Isn't that how it ought to be?  I mean clearly in the case of leopard or a lion it’s better to admire it from a safe distance but let’s not forget the point which is this to be tamed is to be broken, and a broken person or animal is worse than a dead person or animal because it goes against everything that we strive to put down, with our preconceived notions and our expectations over things we have business in.

The wilderness is in my opinion the constant reminder that we are never broken, just really bent. That whatever is thrown at us that we can fight back and actually stand a chance of winning. As we continually pry and find ways to bend nature in its wildest form to fit our minds and believes it finds new ways to fight back and let us know who is in charge.
But really though, what does It really mean to be wild? No, really I wanna know I don’t just mean it in a rhetorical sense.  Like, I am actually asking a question here. You see because naturally when you think of wild, words like untamed and jungle come to mind. And most people don’t mean nice things when they use those words.

The wild is life’s greatest teacher in my opinion, if we will just pay attention.
At the risk of sounding like a hobo, everything in nature…..from the trees to the seas to the waterfalls are all just yearning to teach all they know, which is a lot if I might add. But our pride and unnecessary belief in the fact that we are supreme won’t let us pay attention.
Plus we aren’t really thought to live side by side so all we know is domination and annihilation and well we’d rather be the former than the later right? What am I saying? We can’t even live side by side fellow humans and now I’m talking about all of nature? Somebody smack me in the back of the head please, It’s really hilarious because we still wont accept how much we need it’s help. We will rather cut down all the flowers because plants are a nuisance then replace them with artificial plants.

That makes sense……
